In the age of the ancient, God descended upon humanity, dwelling among them and bestowing insight upon mankind.

 Yet one day, God vanished, and all that remained was a gigantic monolithic spire. The mortals could not comprehend, yet it was the only thing remaining. 

Thus, an association of seekers known as 'Climbers' Originated, attempting the ascent in pursuit of answers. Yet, the endeavor was not simple, for the mount was guarded by beasts. 

However, God's final grace decreed that any who perished upon the mount would shed their old vessel and be reborn anew each time. Yet, the gift held a price, for dying excessively would result in the loss of their Humanity.
